Star magazine is reporting that the Kardashian sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian’s and Momanager Kris Jenner‘s fashion lines are being manufactured in foreign sweatshops.  Are we really surprised by those allegations?  They will do anything to make money!  The magazine goes on to claim that the Kardashian family made millions from child labor and that officials have launched an investigation.  Watchdogs are asking the Kardashians to cease  and desist!

Star Magazine has more: ““The Kardashians are in bed with some pretty bad people,” Charles Kernaghan, the executive director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, tells Star.  “Not only are celebrities like the Kardashians taking advantage of these workers, they are holding hands with a government that spits on democracy and women’s rights.”

Not all of the Kardashian products are under fire, the items in question are: “Items in the family’s high-end K-Dash by Kardashian label and the Kris Jenner Kollection — sold on the home-shopping television network QVC — and ShoeDazzle, a company that Kim cofounded and endorses”

The Human Rights group investigating says that the Kardashians are producing their products in China for more profit.  The employees of the sweatshops in China make as little as $1 an hour while the Karashians earned $65 million last year.  What do you think of these allegations, do you believe them?  Sound out in the comments below!
