Reality Star Kim Kardashian, 30,  is engaged to be married.  The unlucky lucky fellow is none other than her boyfriend of six months New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries.   Apparently Kris proposed May 18th, when Kim got home he was waiting in her bedroom and had written in rose petals “Will you Marry Me.” Poor guy he does not know what he is getting himself into.

People has the scoop: “I didn’t expect this at all.  I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.”

Humphries popped the question with a custom-designed, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond sparkler. “I just knew I wanted it to be big,” says Humphries, 26, who, with the help of Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner, planned an intimate family celebration later that evening.

“Kris really didn’t want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he’d be fine if there were mini-horses there,” says Kardashian with a laugh. “Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!”

If they make it to the alter it will be a miracle.  If they happen to make it, I give it 6 months at the most.   This is just another attempt by Kim to get more attention.  Maybe Kim will get pregnant – babies are the new thing to have and Kim does not want to feel left out!  What you think about Kim Kardashian getting engaged?  Publicity stunt or True Love?
