And here’s where Lady Gaga and her funky teal wig is about to jump the shark with her teenage fans. Obviously, kids do not want to hear about rules governing sex from adults, so this advice from the Princess Of Weird is likely to go in one ear and out the other. But that won’t stop her from trying, right?
In a recent interview, she said, “I think young kids should wait as long as they can before they have sex. And they should use protection from the first time to the last time. But I’m not afraid to talk about sex. Sex is not wrong. Sex is real life. I don’t see sex to be a bad thing.”
Despite wanting to keep her young fans avoiding sex, she believes that it is the driving force behind everything in the world. She said, “Sex is an inspiration for everyone and I don’t think there is one song that’s ever been written that sex wasn’t part of it. So that’s what makes the world go round. I don’t know if threesomes make the world go round, but I suppose, they’re fun.”
I think at least she’s sending a good message, even though kids these days are likely to go neneneneh and stick their fingers in their ears. I’m of the mind that if you aren’t open enough to talk about sex, then you aren’t mature enough to be having it.
