The death threat to Selena Gomez is so serious that LAPD’s Threat Management Unit is on the case and Selena has been able to obtained a restraining order against the lunatic.
The threat to Selena’s life is said to come form Thomas Brodnicki, a man with a criminal history of stalking. What triggered the panic was Brodnicki allegedly telling his therapist that God had ordered him to kill Selena and that he was going to do it.
He also claimed he had traveled from Chicago to Los Angeles to meet her and “visited her workplace at least three times,” according to declarations made in court documents from Selena and her lawyer Blair Berk.
According to TMZ.com, the 19-year-old star is said to be in “extreme fear” as a result of the threat.
The Los Angeles Police Department is said to be treating the case “extremely seriously” because of Thomas’ history of stalking, and the revelation came about during a mental evaluation after he threatened to “scratch people’s eyes out on the street.”
