When opportunity comes a’knockin’, you can expect some head of a porn company to answer. That’s exactly what’s going down in the case of The Situation versus Abercrombie & Fitch. A & F offered to shell out some dough to the Sitch and company, if they’d cease wearing their brand.
The company said basically that he could cause damage to their brand. Since, their stock has gone down. Apparently, the Jersey Shore viewing public doesn’t take too kindly to someone putting down his Royal Abness™.
Now, Larry Flynt is entering the picture! He wants to pay Mike to wear Hustler Apparel! Go figure. This all reeks of one huge publicity stunt after another. TMZ reports:
But Hustler sees things differently — and according to a rep for the adult company, it has offered to “pay Mr. Sorrentino to wear their clothing so that he can stay well dressed.”
Larry Flynt tells TMZ, “The Sitch may not be good enough for Abercrombie & Fitch, but he’s good enough for us.”
