Lindsay Lohan has been formally charged with grand theft in her recent necklace caper!
The rehabbed actress has been accused of walking into Kamofie & Company in Venice and making off with a necklace worth $2,500. The crazy part is that the whole thing was caught on video!
The video, however, does not have any sound, but the shop owner claims that when they loan out jewelry to celebrities, they have them sign some paperwork and fork over a credit card number. Lindsay claimed, in response, that she simply does not handle that sort of thing.
Lindsay could get up to a year in state prison, if convicted. We’ve heard that the District Attorney’s office is trying to get Lindsay’s previous victims to come forward, but they’re having a hard time.
