Lindsay Lohan To Play Carrie In Stephen King Remake?

Rumor has it that Lindsay Lohan might be up for the role of Carrie White in the 1976 Stephen King classic, Carrie.

Carrie was played by Sissy Spacek in the original movie, but Stephen has mentioned Lindsay’s name as a possible star in the upcoming remake.

In a new interview, Stephen said, “I’ve heard rumblings about a Carrie remake….Lindsay Lohan as Carrie White, hmmm. It would certainly be fun to cast.”

A spy close to Lindsay said that she was “stoked” when she got wind of the mention and says that working with the author would be “epic”. In addition to all of that, Lindsay also wants to be consideredd for a role in the movie version of his series, The Dark Tower.

Hopefully she won’t be holding her breath any time soon. Stephen shouldn’t be trying to give her hope for movie roles, right? Who do you think should play Carrie in the remake? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
