Lindsay Lohan got on Twitter last night to say that she wasn’t raised to lie, cheat or steal, so why is she considering a plea deal in her jewelry theft case?!?? That’s what I want to know!
She is accused of airheadedly walking out of Kamofie & Company, wearing a $2,500 necklace. The shop owner thought she was going to return with the necklace the following day once she realized her blunder, but she never did.
Now, Lindsay is being taken to court over the kerfuffle and has pleaded not guilty to the felony charge. According to reports, she is considering a plea deal so she wouldn’t have to do any jail time!
Her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said that Lindsay would take a deal to avoid getting her entitled butt tossed in the slammer.
“Ms. Lohan maintains her innocence, and now that I’ve seen the police reports, I believe the case is entirely defensible,” Holley said. “Having said that, we will entertain a discussion concerning a plea if it means no jail so that she can move forward with her recovery and her career.”
