Maria Shriver wants her divorce from former California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, over ASAP, we’ve learned. She has instructed her lawyer, Laura Wasser, to get the deal done and over with as quickly as possible, so that she can get back to work!
She filed her divorce petition earlier this month, and under California law, the divorce will be final six months from the filing date. She’s said to be eager to get back to work, but doesn’t want that drama hanging over her head in the meantime.
A source said, “Maria wants the divorce to be final so she can get back to work, and move on with her life. All of the major networks have approached her, but she hasn’t made any decision yet. Maria doesn’t want any new job to impede on time she spends with Christopher, and Patrick, who live with her. Patrick is going to be a senior in high school and she will be visiting colleges with him. Christopher is only thirteen, and the two have a very close relationship.”
A snitch said that Oprah Winfrey has been trying to court Maria for her OWN network. The spy said, “Oprah wants Maria for OWN, make no mistake.”
