Mel Gibson Attempts To Snatch Baby Lucia From Oksana, In Court

Oksana Grigorieva’s outrageous claim this week that Mel Gibson beat her in order to become sexually aroused has led to another courtroom battle. Mel’s family lawyer, Stephen Kolodny, asked Judge Scott Gordon on Friday to immediately remove custody of Lucia from Oksana on the grounds she acted to endanger Lucia, and with complete disregard for the baby’s welfare, by leaking the story of Mel’s alleged kinky and violent sexual behavior.

Kolodny also argued many of the allegations Oksana made during her recent deposition have never been made before, were subsequently leaked by her to the press, and are a belated attempt to slander Mel and thereby harm Lucia.

The judge declined to act precipitously and did not immediately strip Oksana of custody – rather he scheduled a complete hearing in the matter for next month.

One thing we can say for sure – since both Mel and Oksana are using baby Lucia as a football in their game of ugly hate for each other, they both qualify as lousy parents.

I wonder who makes up this load of tosh with claims of outrageous lies on both sides of this custody case.
Sounds like media hype to me because the websites can’t get any information on what’s going on, so they make something up.

Throughout the investigation into her domestic violence claims against Mel, she never once mentioned this. She didn’t mention it at the mediation when she was bargaining for large sums of money. She didn’t mention it in any of her interviews, not even to Larry King where she discussed her version of events in detail. But now she suddenly remembers, and oops, it leaked to the press? Please! She is not honest, but she is malicious and I really hope the legal system can stop her destructiveness. I also really feel badly for her children. Oksana’s longing for revenge, control, fame, and money has blinded her to the need of her children to live in peace without this kind of dirt constantly being shared with the media.

If Mel is right that Oksana is spreading malicious lies about him in the media, how can she be considered a good mother and co-parent for this little girl? Imagine what she says about him at home in front of this little girl! What is a father supposed to do? His laywers have requested repeatedly that there be a gag order, but it has not helped. So now he is fighting through the courts, not through the press as she regularly does, using the only legitimate way open to him. You may not like him, but don’t bash him for trying to have a decent life with his daughter without Oksana knifing him in the media on a regular basis.

What would you do if you were trying to co-parent with someone who wants to destroy you while gaining as much attention as possible? It is a nightmare existence for a man who has always kept his family out of the press so they could live their lives with some peace.

P.S. Some readers over at TMZ have been watching this situation from the beginning and did a fair bit of research into Oksana’s past, looking at publications from Russia, England, and the USA as well as attempting to verify her claims for a patent, concerts she supposedly gave, double checking versions of her stories and biography, etc. There was some unsavory information uncovered about her and there was plenty to spin if Mel had wanted to do that, but Mel has never chosen to smear her in public the way she has done to him repeatedly. It says a lot to me about his character, no matter what she says about him.

Very well said, Tara…I agree 100%! I hope Mel wins full custody of the baby and Oksana ends up in prison where she belongs…her list of crimes just keeps racking up…karma will not give her a pass forever…
