Like Brangelina, who spent their Christmas in Costa Rica, and Katy Perry and Russell Brand, who vacationed in Hawaii, newlyweds David Lauren and Lauren Bush Lauren also decided to flee the snow and ice for the tropics this holiday season!
The couple, who married last September in a prairie western-themed wedding at the Lauren family’s ranch in Colorado, were spotted lounging on the beach over the weekend in St. Barts, the most elite and expensive of all of the Caribbean islands. Lauren, the granddaughter of former president George H.W. Bush, was also photographed dipping her toes in the while while holding onto her frosty cocktail glass.
And although the couple frequently is seen wearing designer clothes from the Ralph Lauren fashion empire started by David’s dad, the couple kept it casual on Christmas Eve in white t-shirts and a skirt (for Lauren) and swimming trunks (for David.)
It’s good to know that even so-called American royalty can kick back once in a while!
