Nicole Vail Cannizzaro Seeks Restraining Order On Gary Dourdan For Busting Her Nose

Gary Dourdan’s ex-girlfriend, Nicole Vail Cannizzaro, has filed for a restraining order, claiming he punched her in the face and broke her nose. Nicole has an emergency protective order from police that keeps her safe for the moment – but it expires next week.

TMZ obtained the court documents for the restraining order filing:  Nicole Vail Cannizzaro claims in the documents, obtained by TMZ, she had broken up with Dourdan in May “due to his excessive drug use, which only worsened after cutting off communication with him.”

Nicole claims Gary put recording devices in her home and attempted to break in. She says Sunday night he punched her in the face and broke her nose. Nicole says she ran to the back alley, where a neighbor called 911. Gary was arrested for felony battery but bailed out.

Nicole is asking that Gary stay 100 yards away from her and her 2 dogs, Charlie and Chanel.

A hearing for the restraining order is set for later this month – hopefully Nicole will be safe until then – if Gary is freaking out on drugs than he might do anything at all.

Dourdan was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of Sandy, a teacher and fashion designer, and Robert Durdin, an entrepreneur and agent for jazz musicians. Dourdan is the second youngest of five children. When he was 6 years old, his older brother Darryl was murdered while on vacation in Haiti; the case remains unsolved.
