Get ready folks, Paris Hilton is hitting the big screen again with her new reality show on Oxygen, ‘The World According to Paris’. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a reality TV fan, but I’m still on the fence as to whether I’ll be tuning in to watch Paris and her ‘pal’ Brooke Mueller gallivanting through L.A. And since when have they been friends? Seems a little contrived to me, however with Brooke’s recent personal drama it could make for some good television.
The show promises viewers that nothing is off limits, with Paris telling People that “Brooke is an open book”. Interesting…I wonder if we’ll gain any insight into her addiction problems she’s been facing? Both Paris and her mom Kathy have been very open about standing by Brooke, with Kathy quoted as saying, “What she’s going through is a daily struggle, it’s a work in progress.”
Paris insists that the two have been friends for years, although I can’t imagine what the two would have in common other than both of them desperately seeking media attention. I guess we’ll see what it’s all about on June 1st when the show airs…stay tuned!
