Last night was the semi-finals of Dancing With The Stars and the competition was nothing short of intense as the four remaining couples battled it out. Ricki Lake and Rob Kardashian jointly topped the leader board. Ricki earned a perfect 30 from the ballroom show’s judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli for her performance of the Samba with partner Derek Hough, putting her in a good position to go through to the final next week.
Speaking of the routine, Len said it was “fabulous, fabulous, fabulous,” while Bruno claimed it was “sizzling hot, bright and brilliant“. For her second dance, a tango, Ricki earned 29 points, with an extra eight marks coming from their Cha Cha Relay performance, giving the couple a total of 67.
Rob Kardashian and his professional partner Cheryl Burke managed to match her score of 67, with much praise heaped on his Argentine tango. Len said: “You started as a goofy outsider, now you’re looking like a leading man.” However, he only managed to score 27 and 28 for his initial dances, but topped the list for the third and final dance, gaining an additional 10 points for his Cha Cha Relay.
