Canadians have been patiently waiting for the day when newlyweds, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (for those living under a rock, Prince William and Kate Middleton, both 29), begin their overseas tour of North America – just in time to kick off our Canada Day celebrations!
The pair arrived today in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada – the Country’s capital. And how happy fans were to receive them! We watched through our television screens the Royal Wedding (not to mention setting our alarms for the wee hours of the morning), and now we can see them on our own turf.
Wills and Kate plan on visiting different parts of Canada, including Prince Edward Island, Yellowknife, and Calgary before flying to California. Sadly, no Toronto visits – maybe next time (and with little tykes in tow?).
