Twilight star Robert Pattinson, 24, and soon to be seen in Water For Elephants with Reese Witherspoon sat down with MTV for an interview on Friday and joked that he chooses his co-stars by how they look. “I like hot girls,” he laughed. “I like being in movies with lots of hot girls.”
But being hot is not enough for Robert his leading ladies also have to be smart. Robert raves about his recent co-stars on and off the screen girlfriend Kristen Stewart, Reese Witherspoon, Emile de Ravin and Uma Thurman. “They’re all very strong, actually. I always end up being in movies with very experienced and passionate people. They’re never just flimsy floozies.”
Despite all this Robert said he finds doing love scenes a tad embarressing. He also said his love scene with Reese in Water For Elephants wasn’t as hot as it looked on the big screen, as he was working hard to hide a terrible cold.
“The love scene in this, I was doing it when I had a really bad cold. I’m not generally that awkward doing stuff apart from when I’ve got my belly coming out. But my nose is running all over the place and it was in one of the additional photography scenes, and Reese had this wig on, and literally, I was wiping my nose on her wig. We were doing this really passionate love scene. It was really stupid. I guess I’m not that awkward anymore.”
