Leave it up to Sandra Bullock to wipe that pout off Renee Zellweger’s face! The two ladies had a little rendezvous on Sunday; days after news broke of Renee’s split from Bradley Cooper.   Sandra, who is in the Big Apple filming Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close with Tom Hanks, owns an apartment and has been seen out and around the city with her adorable son, Louis.

It’s no secret that Sandra has had her share of heartache, with her divorce from ex Jesse James having been made so public following her Oscar win in 2010. Who better to lend an ear to Renee, who has been seen all over New York flying solo, and looking just plain sad.

Pictures were snapped of the actress making a house call to Sandra’s downtown pad for some girl time. Both Sandra, 46, and Renee, 41, are from Texas, and although there were recent rumors of Sandra coming between Bradley and Renee (what else is new?), they appear to be just that – rumors. Let’s cut Sandra a break, it seems that lately any Hollywood relationship that has come to an end, her name is dragged into it. Remember Scarlet and Ryan?

Renee and Bradley were an item for nearly two years, and neither sides have commented on the split. Let’s hope Sandra cheers her up fast – we like seeing Renee happy, and with Sandra’s positive attitude and strength, she’s just the person to make it happen!
