Disney starlet Selena Gomez wants all of us to know that she’s nowhere near perfect and that she makes mistakes all of the time!
In a recent interview, she said that she’s just like everybody else in the fact that she makes mistakes, too. Since she’s in the spotlight, she said that she tries to be a good role model for her young fans.
She said, “I never really said I want to be a role model. But then when it happened I was so down for it. I’m human, I’m not perfect. I make mistakes all the time, but I guess my job is to keep those mistakes to myself, which I’m already fine doing and just try to be the best I can be for those kids.”
Good for her! She’s a great role model! She hasn’t been involved in any scandals and she seems like a well-rounded kid. She admitted that the idea of fame is superficial, something else we can agree on.
She said, “This is a very superficial job. I sit in a chair for two hours and get hair and makeup done and talk about myself in interviews. That’s a very vain thing to do. And I do get caught up in it sometimes.”
We can understand that! Still, we can’t hate on her, she’s got a great public image. Don’t you think?
