Black Eyed Peas Will.i.am believes if Justin Bieber, 17, is to have longtime success and not be a one hit wonder he is going to have to go through relationship heartache. Justin is currently dating Selena Gomez, 18, and all seems to be working perfect for the two lovebirds. Justin is also currently working with Will.i.am on his new album. William is trying to mentor Justin on how to write and produce his own music.
Will.i.am has this to say about Justin: “Justin as an artist has to fight. Michael Jackson fought, Prince fought, the ones that stood around for a long time are the ones that are always fighting for something. He’s gonna hurt. He’s going to go through relationship drama [and that will make him successful. We know the ones that get comfortable and then their career is short, ‘Oh I remember that one song he had, that was cool.’”
