Did anyone besides me laugh or feel as awkward as I did when Angelina Jolie appeared on stage to present the Best Adapted Screenplay award at last night’s Oscars? Not only did we pretty much see all her lady bits when she strutted across stage, but upon stopping at the podium she paused and extended her leg out in a very robotic way leaving us to stare at nothing but her exposed leg.
I don’t think it created the sexy effect the actress probably intended, but also it made her look terrible. She was ridiculously pale, and can we talk about how thin she is? Someone please give that girl a sandwich stat!
I was waiting for her to pass out on stage if someone blew on her. Her stature didn’t go unnoticed among the winners, specifically The Descendants Jim Rash, who mimicked her pose during his acceptance speech. Angie didn’t bat an eye when she next had to present the award for best original screenplay, maybe because she was too hungry to know what was going on.
