CDL sat down with John Stamos on the set of his new movie, My Man is a Loser, and discovered the actor with the luscious hair and perfect bone structure finds it difficult to live up to his playboy persona.
“You get caught up in it,” he laughed. “In dealing with that in real life, you don’t want to disappoint people. You want to be this guy that people think that I am but I’m not.”
The former Full House star and Beach Boys drummer was married to supermodel Rebecca Romijn for five years but the pair called it quits in 2005. Since then Stamos’ love life is hot news with the actor seemingly dating a revolving door of beautiful models and actresses including Oscar winner Renee Zellweger.
But Stamos advises not to believe everything you hear about his Casanova reputation. “I’ve been in New York for five weeks now and I’ve gone to bed by myself,” he said. “You think I’m in New York playing around, having a good time, it’s not quite…. But I feel sometimes the responsibility to be that guy.”
