Katy Perry has certainly donned her fair share of interesting wardrobes, but the one she’s wearing for her guest spot on Raising Hope is pretty outrageous.
Katy guest starred on the FOX sitcom playing Rikki, a prison attendant who claims to be an old friend of Sabrina’s (played by Katy’s real life pal Shannon Woodward).
Katy told Entertainment Weekly how she was asked to play the less-than-attractive role of Rikki:
“A couple of weeks ago, I was home, just toasting up a frozen chicken fillet when Shannon called me up and asked if I wanted to do something ‘fun’ for a change and try out a guest role on her TV show. I thought, sure, I have nothing else to do, and I like chillin’ with my best friend,”
“Creator Greg Garcia was nice, but I hope he’s not secretly sabotaging my potential future career by type-casting me in the role of just a looker, so that I would never be able to play anything more challenging.”
We’ll find out if Katy’s got the acting chops or not when Raising Hope’s episode ‘Single White Female’ airs Tuesday March 6th at 9:30 on FOX.
