Meet Giuliana Rancic’s surrogate mother Delphine! The secret is out! The identity of the woman who helped Giuliana and her husband Bill Rancic bring their son into the world has been unveiled and surprisingly I wasn’t so sure these two were going to take this public. Obviously Delphine isn’t having any issue with showing her face and her baby bump because she shows both on the season premiere!
In a clip from the couple’s reality show Giuliana & Bill, we get to see their surrogate Delphine being coached in the delivery room alongside the soon-to-be parents. A hospital worker is explaining the process of the delivery, including what will happen during the big day and we get to see Giuliana and Bill argue over who will get to cut the umbilical cord.
It was at a Denver, Colorado hospital that Delphine popped out baby Edward on August 29th, 2012 on 10:12pm in just four hours!
The new parents did release their own baby welcoming messages with Bill tweeting, “The “Duke” has landed! Edward Duke Rancic was welcomed into the world last night at 7lbs 4oz. G & I feel blessed beyond words…We did it!(sic)'” and Giuliana telling her employer E! News, “Bill and I are blessed beyond words to welcome Edward into our lives.
‘Thank you so much to everyone who supported us along the way. We are so in love with the little guy already!”
