It’s a Christmas miracle although Kate Middleton might not be thinking so right about now. Kate Middleton’s pregnant… and not feeling so well. The Duchess of Cambridge was taken to King Edward VII Hospital this morning for acute morning sickness and is expected to stay and recooperate for several days. I guess they couldn’t keep hiding the news after something like that.
According to the couple’s website: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news. The Duchess was admitted this afternoon to King Edward VII Hospital in Central London with Hyperemesis Gravidarum. As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter.”
Any moms out there? Do you usually go to the hospital for morning sickness? Doesn’t that sound a bit extreme? Why wouldn’t they have brought a doctor in to deal with something like this? Is it odd to anyone else that she’s being checked into a hospital. I understand it’s her first pregnancy and the young couple is probably being overly cautious but it just seems off. I’m not sensing anything smutty but I would like for all you out there to let me know if this is a normal thing for new moms early along in their pregnancies.
So does this mean a late Summer baby? Any name ideas yet? I’m still thinking there will be another Princess Diana. Can’t wait!! Congrats to the couple! I can’t wait to see Kate’s pregnant fashions. Will she and Jessica Simpson wear the same muumuus? Also… is Jessica Hay ALWAYS telling the truth or did she just get lucky?
