Jennifer Love Hewitt has learned an important love lesson this week: don’t crush and tell!
The 33-year-old, currently single actress revealed earlier this month on Ellen Degeneres‘ talk show that she had a crush on Adam Levine, and when the singer, also 33, appeared on the show this week, he ended up dissing her!
“I heard about that. That was aggressive,” he told Ellen, when she brought up the fact that Jennifer called him “hot.” Ouch! (Although considering that he just ended a two-year relationship with model Anne V, perhaps Adam is not ready to dive back into the dating pool!)
In response Jennifer wrote on her Twitter account:
“The moment when you make a comment about something or someone and the world makes you feel like a total fool. #keepcrushesquiet.”
