Jessica Simpson may have another bun in the oven, but that doesn’t mean her raging hormones have sent her on a lovey dovey family binge! The star is disgusted by her dad Joe Simpson’s gay sex scandal and is begging him to leave her alone and disappear. She’s taken her mom Tina Simpson’s side in the divorce and wants nothing to do with the man who broke her family up. She’s gotten so desperate, that she’s offered to keep paying him the salary he makes as her manager, if only he’ll go away!
A source explained to National Enquirer, print edition December 24, 2012: “Jessica isn’t even speaking to her dad right now—she’s firmly on mom Tina’s side in the divorce. And she now believes that her father’s wild Hollywood lifestyle hurt her in the business. Jessica’s acting career never took off, her once-hot singing career has hit the skids—and she believes it’s all because Joe took his eye off the ball, wanting to be the life of the party more than a serious manager. Now Jessica wants her career back, thinks she can do better than her father, and—to avoid a nasty legal battle—she’ll extricate herself from Joe’s management, but continue to pay him the 15 percent to keep the peace and move on without him!”
It sounds like a lot of pent-up family drama that is finally being let out. Talk about skeletons—Jessica blames her career failures on her dad’s crappy management? I don’t know about you guys, but I never bought a Jessica Simpson album, even in her “hot” days. Not my cup of tea—I don’t think it’s fair to blame lame CDs on her dad! Unless he wrote them and withheld food to get her to sing them!
We do think that Joe needs to figure out who he is and what he wants, and say so. It may shatter their illusions of him, but then everyone can make logical decisions and move on, however they choose! But with Jessica preparing for another baby, it isn’t fair to put her in the middle of a gay scandal, her parent’s divorce, and a legal battle with her management!
