Prince Charles’s own father Prince Philip (a man!) is 91 years old. Why couldn’t Charles live as long as his parents? Keep in mind King George VI was a heavy smoker, which Charles is not. Personally, I think you (and Tom Sykes) read too much into what the spokesman said. The FAQ is old, he was just saying nothing had changed and it is still the intention that Camilla be Princess Consort, not Queen Camilla, while admitting it is a decision that will be made when the time comes. Big deal. Kate would still have to wait until after Charles dies before being Queen Catherine anyway.
