Katy Perry's Father Preaches Anti-Semitism And Thanks God For Her Divorce

It is no wonder that Katy Perry has stayed as far away from her parents as possible since Russell Brand filed for divorce.  Katy has sought solace with her grandma and after reading about her parents recent sermon in the Sun we know why she avoids her creepy mom and dad.

The Sun reports that someone on the inside heard Keith and Mary Hudson preach to the congregation at Church On The Rise in Westlake, OH on Wednesday – and what they report is frightening.

The parents from hell credit God with their daughter’s divorce. Mary opened up about the divorce and explained that it was God who made it happen: “I’m sure Katy is trending on the Internet just to get you to church tonight. I mean all over the world, who knows how God is bringing them in? The most important thing is you are here and God wants to put the fire in you in 2012.”

At one point, Perry’s dad said, “What has taken place in my daughter’s life has opened many opportunities to go in and be with guarded and gated people. God has given us a platform to go in and meet people and they like us because we are cool. We are not threatening.”

Keith also went into an anti-Semitic tirade that would make Mel Gibson blush.

Keith told hundreds of worshippers: “You know how to make the Jew jealous? Have some money, honey.  You go to LA and they own all the Rolex and diamond places. Walk down a part of LA where we live and it is so rich it smells. You ever smell rich? They are all Jews, hallelujah. Amen.”

Later there was a collection for the Hudsons so parishioners could pay and reward the anti-Semites for what they had heard.  Keith added: “We live by the Gospel, not off anyone else, even though you may say ‘You are the parents of Katy Perry, you must be rich.’ No, she is, I am not, hallelujah.”

No wonder Russell hates Katy’s parents and refuses to have anything to do with them. Of course we can’t blame Katy for her parents – one doesn’t choose one’s family.
