We always thought Khloe Kardashian was an image-obsessed fame whore, constantly tweeting about her happy marriage to Lamar Odom. The two have launched a fragrance called Unbreakable Joy, and she tweets daily links to her fans. We previously reported that Lamar not only took off his wedding ring, but has been caught partying all over US, getting too cozy with leggy brunettes in Oklahoma, and has been skipping Kardashian events. I suggested that Khloe was looking to distance herself from the Kardashian brand, but a new report claims that Khloe is actually a slave to Lamar!
A source reported to inTouch Weekly, print edition January 7, 2013, “Lamar definitely has a lot of control over Khloe right now. She used to have allt he power, but now it’s shifted. He’s detached from her family, less involved in their perfume line, and hanging out with his friends all the time.” Lamar skipped the Kardashian Christmas card shoot, and Mason’s birthday. Instead, he’s been partying without his wedding ring into the early morning, leaving Khloe home alone. “He’s playing by his rules now,” a friend of the couple admits. “If he wants to go out, he goes out. If he wants to hang out with his friends, he hangs out with his friends. Khloe doesn’t fight him because she loves him and is terrified of losing him.”
This just goes to show that a man who would abandon his children has no morals. Sure, Lamar may visit them once or twice a year, but that’s no father! And now his selfish, in the moment nature has transferred to his marriage. Unfortunately, “Khloe really just wants to be as supportive as possible to Lamar.” But we’re uncertain that she’ll ever realize enough is enough! The Kardashian family spent Christmas supporting Lamar at a game, but hasn’t gone to one of Khloe’s X Factor tapings. “I didn’t even see him at the finale,” a production insider admits. Khloe is risking the loss of not just her family, but her personal identity! She’s always seemed like the most honest of the Kardashians, the one who snaps and shows real emotion. But now, “she’s so devoted to Lamar that she’s bending to his rules to make it work.”
Lamar thinks that he’s finally found the perfect balance of work, friends, and family. What’s the formula? No family, lots of partying with friends, and it improves work performance! “He’s finally playing great and doesn’t want anything to mess that up, including his marriage.” I wonder if Olympian Bruce Jenner could help Khloe—maybe he could shed some light on the devotion of an athlete to his sport? Or is there no cure, except a quick divorce and division of the assets? Do you think Khloe is on a short leash, or is she just lacking the self-confidence to tell Lamar to cut it with the other women?
