It looks like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are finally ready to take a gigantic step in their four year relationship. Perhaps the bits of PDA that they showed us in Cannes a few months ago were an indication that they no longer felt like their relationship needed to be kept so hush-hush. Those close to Stewart and Pattinson say that an engagement is brewing and the lovebirds themselves’ were spotted ring shopping at the famed Neil Lane boutique in West Hollywood.
“She loves Rob, and she’s finally ready – and engagement is a logical next step,'” a friend tells Metro. In the past year, they’ve really heated up – moving in together, traveling together, introducing each other to friends. “She was trying on gold rings with various colored diamonds,” an eyewitness told In Touch magazine. “Nothing traditional.”
One thing is for sure, Stewart is notoriously tight lipped about her private life so no big engagement announcement is ever going to come from her. She said it herself last year,
“I guarantee whenever I get married or have a baby, everyone is going to want to know my kid’s name and I’m not going to say it for ages.” Kristen told GQ last year. “That’s just the way I want to do it. It’ll come out but it won’t have come from me.”
