Mel B, the scary Spice Girl is doing her part for a very important cause. In anticipation of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month, Scary Spice is posing in the new issue of UK Cosmopolitan Magazine, with her hubby Stephen Belafonte cupping her breasts – a recreation of Janet Jackson’s infamous 1993 Rolling Stones cover.
Mel B spoke out about her cancer scare when she was 17 years old and says, “I found a lump when I was 17 and freaked out. It turned out it was nothing but it terrified me. Ever since, I’ve always been one for checking, then double checking. I have three daughters and one stepdaughter so I’ll show them as they get older. My eldest [Phoenix, 13] does it already.”
In the image, Belafonte places his hands over Mel B’s perfectly shaped breasts, as the two of them stare intently into the camera. He says about the shoot, “I’m a boob man, so I had absolutely no problem doing this shoot or helping my wife check her breasts.” We have to admit, Mel B looks hotter than Georgia mud during the hottest week of the year.
Mel B doesn’t stop her breast testing with her husband and admits that the other Spice Girls also enjoy playing with breasts. She says about this spicy boob action, “Me and the other Spice Girls are always having a feel of each other’s — Geri came up behind me and grabbed mine the other day.” Okay, this article just went from “oh, so sweet” to “oopsy daisy so-so awkward!” We just have to ask, what would Victoria Beckham do if someone comes up from behind and grabs her breast? We doubt that would be the most enjoyable experience ever.
The message of the breast cancer awareness campaign is simple and straightforward – no matter how scared you are of what you’ll find, checking your own breasts is extremely important. Did you see that Mel? We said, checking your own breasts.
