Melissa Gilbert danced the Jive tonight as Dancing With The Stars continued with its third episode. On this week’s episode themed “The Most Memorable Year of My Life,” the remaining eleven couples are challenged to perform a meaningful dance using any style dance of their choice. Melissa Gilbert and professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy dancing the Jive – Melissa chooses the year 2010 as her memorable year, the year she fell and broke her back which was one the most gut wrenching experiences of her life.
Melissa said this about the theme this week: “It’s a very difficult decision to make. That’s why it’s an ongoing discussion, because there have been some monumental events in my life. Births, divorce, marriage, death. … Successes, just blessings beyond measure. So trying to find one, it seems unfair to the rest of the moments.” Last week Melissa was nervous during her Quickstep and her scores reflected that. (video here)
Judges Comments: Carrie Ann – I loved it, I thought you were so dynamic. Len – a happy ending, you are coming into the competition, well done. Bruno – Melissa is on a mission to put the raunchy into the jive, the opening was excellent, but watch the side to side in the future.
