The veracity of O.J. Simpson’s innocence has long been disputed by lawyers, insiders, and family friends of the murdered Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman. A new Investigation Discovery documentary – part of the Discovery network of channels – alleges that O.J. Simpson is not entirely to blame for the murders. According to the documentary, a famous serial killer who goes by the name of Glen Rogers (sounds like a dead country music star) confessed to the double homicide that rocked the world back in 1994.

Allegedly, Rogers was paid by O.J. to break into Nicole’s home, steal $20 000 worth of jewelry, and kill her if necessary. However, Ron Goldman’s outspoken father, Fred Goldman, insists that the story was made up by the Discovery Network in order to market the show. Fred asserts, “O.J. Simpson murdered Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. The criminal trial showed overwhelming and monumental evidence that O.J. Simpson was the killer. There was no contrary evidence other than guess, innuendo, and rumor. The fact of the acquittal at the hands of the jury will never wash away this murder from the hands of O.J. Simpson, no matter how many Glen Rogers pop up on the media radar screen.” Goldman and his lawyer, David Cook, add to the statement, “Nothing would change the fact that O.J. Simpson murdered these people in cold blood.

Rogers’ career as a serial killer racked up a body count of as many as seventy people. According to insiders, he “partied with Nicole Simpson in the time before she died and boasted to pals that Nicole was wealthy and he was going to take her down.” Rogers worked at a construction site in Southern California at the time of the murders in 1994, plus he was extremely familiar with the crime scene during a ’95 criminal profiler interview when he was sentenced to death after being found guilty of an unrelated double homicide. He allegedly told the profiler that O.J. Simpson hired him to rob Nicole of $20 000 earrings and to kill “the bitch” if she got in his way.

Could this be the real story? Could Glen Rogers actually be O.J.’s rent-a-killer? Or did Rogers try to piggyback on the infamous and highly publicized ‘90’s trial? No-one knows, but in O.J.’s mind, if he didn’t pull the trigger, he wasn’t the killer. What do you think? Do you think O.J. is guilty of the murders? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
