A few weeks ago during the final episodes of The Bachelorette Emily Maynard took pride in the fact that she didn’t hook up with anyone in the ‘fantasy suite’ before making her final decision. Even if she invited him, Jef Holm had already decided that he was going to show respect for Emily and her daughter and turn down any invitation. Viewers knew that Emily had major physical chemistry with Ari Luyendyk Jr. and on air she told him that she didn’t trust herself to be alone with him in the suite so she wasn’t even offering the opportunity to him.
A source recently spoke to Us weekly and they’re telling an entirely different story. Apparently there was a fight that wasn’t shown on-air where Ari stormed off when he realized he was being sent home rather than receiving the final rose,
“He stormed off,” says the source. “He screamed, ‘You just slept with me!’ It wasn’t shown on TV.”
The source then insists that Emily never intended to lead Ari on and that she was flip-flopping in her decision right down to the wire.
“She was truly in love with two good people. It wasn’t clear-cut.” says the source.
