Robert Pattinson is already the star of one freaking successful franchise, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want in on another one! The actor, who is famous for playing Edward Cullen in the massively successful Twilight films, might be in talks to play the role of Finnick Odair in the film adaption of Catching Fire (a part of the Hunger Games Trilogy).

Right now this is all speculation but the rumor seems to be gaining more and more viability, as we’ve learned that the director of the much-anticipated film will be Francis Lawrence, who was the director behind one of Rpattz’s recent movies, Water for Elephants. And we all know that Hollywood thrives on inside jobs.
Of course the studio isn’t releasing any information yet. This is what they had to say in response to all the buzz going around the Celebrosphere:
“As with the first film, we won’t be confirming, denying or commenting on any casting rumors for this title. We will announce news wide when there is official casting news to announce.”
Studios are never any fun — boo! They’re always so incredibly stingy with their info *sad face*. In the meantime, until the official cast list is released, let’s brainstorm who we think would make a great Finnick.
