Shawn Johnson Dancing With The Stars All-Stars Fox Trot Performance Video 9/24/12

Shawn Johnson danced the Fox Trot to  “Good Time” by Owl City for her first performance of Dancing With The Stars All-Stars 2012 Season 15.  All 13 couples will hit the stage performing either the Cha-Cha-Cha or the Foxtrot to impress the judges and viewers at home, hoping they’re not the first couple sent home.   We recapped the tonight’s show for you and if you want to see how all the couples did go HERE!

Shawn Johnson and professional dancer Derek Hough dancing the Fox Trot.  Shawn had this to say about dancing the Fox Trot, “My first dance is a fox-trot and that’s about all I can tell you! It’s been going really well. Our fox-trot isn’t by any means traditional, definitely different and doesn’t really adhere to the normal rules. We have unique music and it kind of suits us and our personality, which I think is important for the first dance. I want to show everybody who I am and not come out as a character yet.”

Judges Comments: Len“What you did you did well.  I know you are a fantastic dancer.  For me it did not feel like a foxtrot and it disappointed me.  Like I said in the beginning you are a good dancer.”  Bruno: “My darling the precious little princess is now a dancer.  You put a little sex appeal into it.  Stylistically it has to be a little more defined.”  Carrie-Ann: “That is what All-Star season is all about.  The posture, great footwork, I loved it.”

Scores: Carrie Ann: 8  Len: 6.5  Bruno: 7.5   = 22/30

Dancing with The Stars All-Stars continues tomorrow night and will kick off with live interviews with Tom and the cast, offering an in-depth look at why each celeb has decided to return for another chance at winning the coveted mirror ball trophy.  Before the night’s end, the season’s first couple will be eliminated from the show.
