Only a day after the 2012 Golden Globes, Modern Family star Sofia Vergara is crawling back into the TV to sit beside funny-woman Ellen DeGeneres. On the show, to be aired today January 16th, Ellen gives Sofia a crazy, and quite unfortunate, make-over (video below).
Sofia made quite a splash on the red carpet last night and — even though she didn’t score a personal award — was happy to help accept Modern Family’s Golden Globe for “Best Television Series–Comedy or Musical.”
In the humorous skit, Ellen and Sofia, who are both spokeswomen for the CoverGirl beauty line, became one with each other. Quite literally. You never know what you’re going to get when you watch Ellen; however, you can always count on some good, clean, hilarious fun, and I suspect that’s why so many people all across the country — including Hollywood’s biggest names — appreciate her so much, as both a television personality and an individual.
I could give you a first hand account of the antics, but I think it would be best if you set aside 3 minutes and 57 seconds to watch the chaos for yourself.
Later in the segment, Ellen asks the natural blonde if brunettes or blondes have more fun.
Sofia responds: “I would say the girls with the bigger boobs. I’ve been blonde and I’ve been brunette. I speak from experience.”
There you go, Ellen. Ask for answers and you shall receive.
Both Ellen and Sofia are currently working to promote CoverGirl and Olay’s 2-in-1 Tone Rehab Foundation. So, while the skit was a gimmick to help promote their current product, it was nonetheless a fun gimmick.
