Another day, another celebrity engagement! Today it’s former star of The Hills Stephanie Pratt. Her boyfriend popped the question over the holiday weekend in Las Vegas. He wanted to start 2012 with a surprise and by the look on his future wife’s face that’s what he got.

She was so excited she couldn’t wait to tell the world tweeting a picture of the diamond sparkler within hours adding ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I am still in shock!!’ Another tweet followed on New Year’s Day saying ‘So far 2012 is awesome!!!! I wish you all good luck, good health and great wealth!! Love u all!!!‘

So who is Stephanie going to walk down the aisle with? He’s a bit of a mystery man. It’s believed her husband to be is an actor/promoter called David Osokow. Unlike the rest of her life, she’s managed to keep him pretty much under wraps.

Steph and some pals – including former Hills co-star Lauren Conrad – were in Sin City over the weekend for a New Years party at the Hyde Bellagio inside the Bellagio Resort & Casino. It’s a bash the reality TV star will always remember after the engagement!

There’s no word yet on whether this will be a long or short engagement. Or where the couple plan to tie the knot. Maybe there’s another reality TV show in the works?
