Bristol Palin is a chip off the old block when it comes to creating controversy. She continues to rack up the lowest scores on Dancing with the Stars All-Stars yet manages to be one of the most talked about contestants. She’s already had a meltdown with partner Mark Ballas and been at the center of a police investigation involving a mysterious package. Oh, and she’s lost a ton of weight along with her mom, super
anorexic looking thin Sarah Palin! After haggard pictures emerged Sarah quickly told People magazine she has a fitness book coming out. “Our family is writing a book on fitness and self-discipline focusing on where we get our energy and balance as we still eat our beloved homemade comfort foods!” Palin told People. “We promise you what we do works and allows a fulfilling quality of life and sustenance anyone can enjoy.”
Did Sarah pressure Bristol to go back to Dancing with the Stars so she could keep the Palins in the news before the book went on sale as well as be a walking advertisement for it?
I wouldn’t put it past her. Today’s 24-hour news cycle makes it so much more difficult to stay relevant. Palin seems to have turned her back on the bread and butter of politics and has decided to be a celebrity instead. Why not? You make lots more money that way and she has lots of mouths to feed. But is Bristol getting caught in the crossfire? This reminds me of my story yesterday on Gia Giudice. Bristol Palin might have a kid but she’s still a baby herself at only 21. Dancing with the Stars won’t be around forever and then what will she do? Live off mom? I’d ask for a cut of Sarah Palin’s fitness book sales if I were her. Because Bristol’s essentially marketing the book every time she hits the dance floor. Most contestants lose tons of weight during the course of the season but Bristol showed up with a brand new body for everyone to talk about. Sarah’s got to be tickled pink!
Because it’s not just about Sarah Palin anymore. Just like Teresa Giudice, she’s branding the whole family now. And fitness and health are a solid market. Everyone’s psycho about keeping their family as fit and happy as possible. It’s the logical next step. Kate Gosselin has been trying to segue into it but she keeps getting caught hitting her kids with spoons so the process has been slow.
Do you think Sarah Palin has ulterior motives in encouraging Bristol Palin on Dancing with the Stars? Is there anything wrong with being an opportunist? And take a look at the pic below. Does Sarah look good enough for you to want to take fitness advice from her?
