The CW Renews Hit Shows: VAMPIRE DIARIES, 90210, and SUPERNATURAL Will Be Around For Another Season!

The CW, home to some of our favorite series dramas, has just announced that they will be renewing hit shows The Vampire Diaries, 90210, and Supernatural for another season! Honestly, we’re not extremely surprised by any of these renewals. We’re definitely glad to see that some of our favorite vampires, witches, socialites, and humans — oh, and a doppelganger! — will be returning to us in the future.

Though we had a feeling that TVD would be returning, we’re slightly surprised to see the return of Supernatural, which will be heading into its 8th season . . . definitely a good run for a television series, especially for a paranormal drama. Let’s hope that they can continue cranking out the interesting stories to entice eager fans.

Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds and AnnaLynne McCord, all of who play Beverly Hills socialites, will all return for 90210‘s fifth season.

The CW definitely has a good lineup for the 2012-2013 season, and we’re interested to see what else they decide to keep . . . and what, if anything, they decide to send to the chopping block.

Check out the official release:
