Tonight was the season sixth episode of True Blood season 5 and it was Fangtastic! We have a sneak peek video and some spoilers to wet your appetite for next week’s episode 7 ‘In The beginning.’
On tonight’s show the Authority retrieves Bill, Eric and Russell. They are super pleased that the boys caught him and congradulate them. Sam helps Andy out with investigation on who is shooting Shifters. Alcide faces up to J.D. and lets him know he wants to be pack leader. There is going to be a showdown between the two. Roman reveals his plans to take out Russell. However, all does not go as planned. It seems there are more traitors within the Vampire Authority than we knew. I love that Russell is back he is delicious and he was fantastic tonight! I am not going to tell you, you will have to read our recap, but there was a shocking ending tonight! Official HBO synopsis of next week’s episode: Sookie considers life without faerie powers; Sam locates shooters; Hoyt finds a new group of friends; Alcide prepares for a fight; Lafayette searches for Jesus’ body. Salome’s true loyalties are revealed; Sam’s sense of smell comes in handy; Alcide prepares for a fight; Sookie embraces her human side.
On next week’s show Eric and Bill are finally realizing that they were used to being Russell to The Vampire Authority. They were used to bring Roman’s killer, Russell right to them. Eric thinks it was his sister Nora. But I am not certain about that, I have a feeling it was Salome.
Sookie is told that her magic is not finite and if she uses it too much she will run out. Sookie asks if she would be human? Sookie is contemplating what it would be like to be human. She is tired of being different – she wants to be just plain old Sookie and from the preview it looks like she is using a lot of magic to get rid of it! Meanwhile Ruby, Lafayette’s Mom comes to see Tara and asks her how she could do it to her. Tara drops her fangs. Something tells me Ruby is going to stop talking.
In one of the funniest scenes from the clip – Russell comes into a room and a women screams, “It is Russell whatshisname.” Russell gets up to the mike on stage and says ‘Edgington.’ There is also a scene where we see Russell attacking Eric. Later we see Russell walking around the street saying, “I have been born again.”
In the last scene we see JD (werewolf and current packmaster) saying that the day has come and there is going to be a war between vampire and humans. Yikes, I think JD has decided he wants to be on the vampires side. Not sure how long he is going to last as packmaster since Alcide has challenged him.
