Well, it has finally happened. Amanda Bynes has finally acted crazier than usual and is waking up this morning in a hospital on a 5150 hold. After months of public displays of insanity Amanda finally crossed the line in Thousand Oaks, Ca. It was there that the former child star decided to set a fire in some random persons’ driveway and then didn’t have the presence of mind to flee!
Instead sheriffs arrived to find Amanda still on the premises watching the bonfire that she had created. After questioning her they took her into custody. In case you aren’t already aware, a 5150 is technically a psychiatric hold and by now it’s pretty obvious that Amanda is in need of some serious help.
Girlfriend has been battling some clear cut mental illness issues for awhile now and every time the paparazzi catches a glimpse of her, the behavior is more bizarre than the time before. Family and friends have insisted that she needs some real help and medication to get her back in touch with the real world.
Do you think that this hold will be extended into a 30 day stay? If she is found to be incompetent then the 72 hours that encompasses a 5150 can automatically turn into a month in a psych ward.
