19-year-old Massachusetts native AMBER HOLCOMB performed “I Say A Little Prayer by Burt Bacharach/Dionne Warwick for her Top 6 AMERICAN IDOL performance tonight. She said about the song, “I have not seen the Movie the song comes from but, I’ve seen Date Movie, and that’s, like, a spoof of that movie.” Did you watch tonight’s show? We did and we recapped it here for you. The contestants sang two songs tonight, one will be from Burt Bacharach and Hal David songbook and the other will be “A Song I Wish I Had Written.”
Why Amber has been put in the bottom 3 on American Idol we don’t know what to say, she has been consistency good. On last week’s show she sang, “What About Love” by Heart. She sang well, but the song was suppose to be a Rock song, not a ballad. Mariah said “She loves seeing her grow as an artist and America needs to get to voting!”
On the next live results show tomorrow night tune in to find out which of your favorite finalists will be sent home. Plus, multi-platinum-selling artist, and the very first AMERICAN IDOL ever, Kelly Clarkson, will perform her new single, “People Like Us.” Season 10 winner and platinum-selling artist Scotty McCreery also will perform.
