Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock Immediately Betrayed -- Show Producers Set her up for Failure!

When Desiree Hartsock signed on to do the current season of The Bachelorette I think she probably assumed that ABC was going to check up on the potential suitors before sending her on dates with them. She was supposed to have 25 eligible bachelors to choose from so imagine her shock when one of the nicest guys was revealed to be a liar right from the get go!

On the June 10th episode Des will be on a one-on-one date with Brian Jarosinski and apparently she really likes this guy. He comes across as super nice and is established as a financial adviser. According to the June 17th print edition of Life & Style the problem is that Brian isn’t single at all! In fact when his ex-Playboy centerfold girlfriend, Stephanie Larimore realized where her man actually was she called the shows producers. Of course they were more than happy to fly her out to L.A. to confront her man.

Sources close to the show say that Desiree was completely shell shocked when Stephanie walks in and needless to say Brian is packing his bags and out of there as fast as Des can make it happen. Not exactly the best start to the new season. Usually stuff like this is revealed later on after the audience has had a chance to connect with the contestants and form an opinion of them. It makes me wonder what other surprises will be coming once the fight for Desiree really heats up.

Do you think there will be a decent guy in this batch or is Des going to end up going home alone, again? If this season doesn’t produce a couple do you think it’s about time for ABC to pack it in? It’s hard to believe that this method can work when from what we have seen, these made-on-tv couples just don’t make it in real life! Tell us your thoughts about Desiree and her posse of potential suitors in the comments below!
