Little kids, gotta love them. No one speaks more truth while embarrassing a parent better than a child and Jennifer Garner learned this lesson the hard way recently. Jen stopped for gas recently and had trouble paying at the pump. After swiping unsuccessfully a few times Jen and her daughter Violet headed inside to pay for the gas at the register. As it turned out the machine at the pump was broken and Jen’s card went through without a problem once inside.
According to the Oct. 7th print edition of National Enquirer it was little Violet whose one-liner turned more heads than her mothers presence did. After paying for the gas little Violet informed everyone within ear shot that daddy (Ben Affleck) keeps threatening to cut up all of Jen’s cards because she spends too much!
Of course that little nugget of info has spread like wild fire. Jen seems to lead a pretty low key life with the kids and has never really come across as a big time shopper but I bet that money is a sore spot. Let’s not forget that Jen refuses to walk the red carpet with Ben because she was an established star before they married and she doesn’t want to be thought of only as his wife when in public. Ben is clearly the big bread winner now while Jen spends most of her time with the kids but I’m guessing that money is a bit of a sore spot for her.
