Brooke Burke-Charvet is usually busy with co-hosting duties for Dancing with the Stars, but whenever she’s not on set, she’s at her beautiful Malibu home.
In the latest issue of Closer Weekly, a closer look at Brooke’s mansion takes us into the 5000 square-feet home which features six bedrooms and bathrooms. Brooke explains, “It reminds me of a Mediterranean villa. There’s a balcony off almost every room with ocean views from everywhere. There’s also a pool area and a yard for the kids.”
She adds, “The kitchen is the conference room. Family dinners are a time for us to all be together and catch up on our days.” Brooke reveals that the happiest moments spent at home revolve around her husband, former Baywatch star David Charvet, and their four children.
Brooke also calls the home an ‘intimate space’ for her and her husband, away from their jobs and other work endeavors. She says, “Sometimes we’ll sit on the terrace off our bedroom with red wine or even some champagne. We have an incredibly peaceful ocean view, and it’s just far enough from all of the kids that we can relax and escape. There’s no reason not to set a romantic table for two and have the best of the best!”
The house certainly is conducive to a romantic evening, with a very beautiful, relaxing, and serene environment. It’s modern, but at the same time, airy and comfortable. There’s none of the sharp edges that seem to dominate many houses on today’s market, and even with so much open space, there’s never a sense that it’s impersonal.
