Camilla Parker-Bowles Forces Ailing Queen Elizabeth To Raise Her Status (PHOTOS)

Well, this might just be the most awkward thing I’ll lay eyes on all weekend! I’m talking about photos of Queen Elizabeth sitting side-by-side in an open carriage with Camilla Parker-Bowles on the way to the first day of Royal Ascot. As the two arrived a military band performed Skyfall, the theme song from the latest James Bond film. It was no doubt a tribute to the Queen’s arrival at the opening of the Olympic Games last summer.

Elizabeth traveling in any fashion with Camilla is likely a tactical move intended to show the people that they should accept the usual outcast, just as the Queen now has. Of course that acceptance hasn’t been won by Camilla’s proven worth or loyalty to the royal family. Instead Prince Charles’ former mistress basically had the upper hand and all but bribed her way to the throne.

CDL reported recently that during one of Camilla’s more recent fits of desperation she threatened to reveal in detail all of Charles’ gay lovers over the years. I’m not sure if he has actually had any men in his bed but I do know that once that threat made headlines suddenly Charles was handed official appearances that indicate he will indeed be king. For awhile there we were hearing that Elizabeth was looking into what steps would be necessary to have her grandson, the respectable Prince William bypass his father to become the next king.

Suddenly Elizabeth did a 180 and seems to have conceded to whatever Camilla has demanded. That’s not even a familiar shadow of the strong woman that has controlled England for over half a century, which tells me that Camilla must have some leverage.

Do you believe that Charles has hooked up with some men over the years? Is that the big secret that his mother is desperate to keep under wraps? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
