More royal drama. Although the royal baby false alarms continue at a rapid pace, we received a new story about the ongoing feud between Camilla Parker-Bowles and Carole Middleton courtesy of Star Magazine.
According to Star, Camilla thinks that Carole Middleton is tacky and greedy, and both Camilla and Carole are continuing to fight for ‘dominance’ in their role as grandmother to the royal baby. Poor Kate Middleton is apparently always stuck in the middle.
A source explains, “Camilla and Carole have never liked each other, but the animosity between them has ramped up since Kate got pregnant. Both think they have the greater right to be prime grandparent for the baby, and it’s led to gigantic fights – often in front of Kate! Camilla thinks Carole is tacky and common. She thinks that if Carole influences the baby it will end up picking up her terrible habits, like chewing gum at public events and being loud and pushy. Camilla is from the nobility herself and wants to teach the future ruler of England how to fit into that world, not Carole’s world of party-planning companies and grasping greed.”
The source also adds that Carole’s ‘low class’ and ‘greedy’ behavior is embarrassing for the royals, but they only tolerate her for Kate’s sake. But then, the source also adds that Carole knows that Camilla has a low opinion of her, but she doesn’t care because, ‘Camilla isn’t even a blood relative to the baby and needs to back off’. Well, the claws are out and the fight continues. May the best [or least worst] grandmother win.
