Carlito Olivero took the stage on THE X FACTOR USA for his Top 6 live performance and Diva Week. Carlito Olivero sang Let’s Get Loud by Jennifer Lopez for his first song. On tonight’s show the top 6 performed live in front of coaches Simon Cowell, Kelly Rowland, Demi Lovato and Paulina Rubio for America’s vote and to make it to the coveted “Top 5.” Did you watch tonight’s performance show? On tonight’s show the theme for the evening is Diva Week. The Top 6 Finalists will perform two songs for the judges and America’s votes – one from their favorite diva artist, and the other, a stripped-down version of a song of their choice. Voting lines will open immediately after the show. This week is a single elimination week, and the finalist have to bring their all to stick around another week.
Judges’ comments: Kelly says that he kind of fell flat for her this week; Demi says last week was hard to top and feels like he didn’t do it this time and wanted him to flirt more with the girls. Simon says that he thinks they have been unfair with him; he knows how much pressure it must be on him to have a song switch with 24 hours left. – If you want to see Carlito Olivero make it another week, you have to vote for him.
On last week’s show Carlito Olivero performed “La Copa de la Vida” by Ricky Martin. – Kelly said, “It finally looked like you were having fun. You were not in your head, you just let yourself free. Do it even more.” Demi said, “That was amazing and probably by far my favorite performances you have ever performed. You have a real place in the market. Paulina nailed it – you need to stick to this.” Simon said, “After a few weeks of dodgy performances you now showed us you are a great performer. It takes guts to come back fighting and I am proud of you.” Paulina said, “I love the way you have been performing. I love the advice Simon gave you last week. I love you.”
On Thursday’s results show two of The X Factor’s most successful graduates are slated to perform live on Thursday’s results show! The X FACTOR USA will be hosting Little Mix, the winners of X Factor UK’s 2011 season, and last year’s breakout boy band, Emblem3. At the end of the show another act will be sent home.
