Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas' Learning Disabled Son Dylan Struggles After Separation

I think Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas did a really fantastic job of keeping their private life private and presenting the image of a totally united front for many years. Otherwise the details of their split wouldn’t be nearly as shocking as they have been, right? As of now we know that Catherine by all appearances doesn’t seem to be handling things well at all. She has lost a lot of weight off of her already thin frame and friends are worried that she is fast tracking towards another hospitalization.

According to the Sept. 23rd print edition of Life & Style magazine Dylan Douglas, the 13-year old son of the couple is missing his father terribly. The family originally relocated to New York because Dylan has a learning disability that was better served in a specific school. Catherine had originally wanted her kids schooled in Britain but opted to come to the states so that her son could have the best help around. Now both Catherine and Dylan are heartbroken and while she insists she will fight for custody of the kids, sources wonder if she will be capable of handling everything.

As for Michael, he was spotted leaving their New York mansion on Sept. 5th with luggage that indicated he had no intention of sticking around for very long. He supposedly promised his son that he would see him soon but Dylan is reportedly having a hard time even understanding why his parents marriage is falling apart in the first place. Do you think that Catherine will put it together and be able to handle not only herself but also her sons educational needs? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
